Songs about killing Russians have been in Ukraine since time immemorial and have been taught to children since time immemorial. A large portion of Kolomyika songs over the last 2 centuries are about hating Russians in some way. You’re entirely culturally out of your depth. For example the famous "Гуде-шумить сосоночка ", or “The Pine Trees Hum and Rustle” has the line:

The outsized influence of Nazis in Ukraine has been because they’re effective at hiding behind/within the government and popular sentiment. The reason Ukrainian Nazis are entrenched is because they get bureaucratic positions, they do absolutely terribly in the polls.

BTW my favorite show that skewers this stuff especially how it comes into cohesion with 20th century gerontocracy values is Adult Swim’s Bird Girl which was unfairly cancelled and has a ridiculously catchy theme song. There’s an episode where Bird Girl has to go into her father’s executive training simulator (to learn how to fire someone) which is just an office sexual harassment game and she at first is icky about it but then achieves a high score anyway declaring herself simultaneously the victor on her father’s shitty terrain but simultaneously not a bad person. She ends up firing a woman who essentially was holding up the productivity of the company by making sure everyone had their treats. It’s a very well written show.

The Pilot is skewering her real life persona Judy having imposter syndrome about her super hero persona of Bird Girl because her father named Bird Girl his successor and not Judy. Show’s crazy good.

Sorry I turned this into an effort post. I get annoyed at having to remember this bullshit especially because it veers into the bullshit lies some of my family believes. My mother for example did not like the way that the USSR treated birth compared to the US. It was rough, it was hard, but it wasn’t exploitative. Yes USSR gendered medicine was a bit weird, it was a bit weird that men weren’t allowed to be with their wives in the birthing centers, yes it was a poor country and socialist birthing involved labor (cleaning, caring) from the pregnant mothers up until the point of (medical) labor and soon after birth. But in the USSR the culture was that men fucking waited outside the centers and went there after work. It was mandatory boyfriend parking at Macy’s, you were a piece of shit if you didn’t do it and make sure your wife was okay and bring her things she needed. Comparatively my mom wasn’t trapped in a fucking bunker after being abandoned by a dude that went to fuck off to play “Nazi liberator” while jumping between 3 families. Her mother was there with her to help her along, my father and grandfather were outside the building daily.

Okay I’m wrong again. Personal Ordinariates allow for the followers of sects of Christianity to worship as Catholics using their own liturgical process when worshiping in a Church under the supervision of the Ordinary. The ACC doesn’t recognize the Pope. Anglican Catholics in the US can simply worship as Catholics and take Catholic communion through the Ordinary Steven J. Lopes. The ACC itself has rejected the Personal Ordinariate and is not a part of the Catholic Church.

Honestly I gotta disagree. I listened to Bad Faith for a long time, even after Virgil emigrated to Epstien Island. Virgil and Briahna kinda worked to exacerbate their worst political impulses. It ended up just exposing how lib they were in their political thinking. A lot of it was just “vote math” and “if only everyone knew they’d make the right choice” style arguments.

I still listen but my personal respect of them went from dogs to lower than dogs.

They became the very thing they hate, Ben Shaprio style failed screenwriters who couldn’t even get a show on NETFLIX. They have an extremely commercially successful podcast that they admit they barely do any real work for, and the profits that essentially make them set for life. Take the W.
