Abolish the internet seems like the only way to restabilize global society. Real sorry that you’ll have to go back to buying DVDs and only dating people in your neighborhood instead of strangers on the other side of the world but the butlerian jihad will demand some sacrifices.

Good old moderate incrementalism. And the top response is "we don’t need to do that, we just need a war that kills of 30% of the population

cap-think “People are mad that they can no longer afford bread or circuses, what should we do?”

porky-happy “Have you considered getting rid of the circuses entirely? That or maybe we just kill everyone?”

That’s my solution too but it’s a revolutionary civil war instead and probably more like 5%-10% while the rest get pushed either into their own territory that can be dealt with later or out to some island somewhere like the PRC achieved with the ROC.

Maybe acknowledge the hardships people are suffering and offering solutions that aren’t obviously padding already rich portfolios or maintaining alliances?

This is the sub that unironically argues against raising the minimum wage because they believe it’ll negatively impact black workers the most, right? Critically unserious people

No, neoliberals won so hard that in 2008 the economy had an integer overflow error on that caused the global financial crisis. This gives a false impression to anyone stupid enough to question the perfect system. We only know winning and will never see an ideology based around selfishness and looting society for your own personal benefit collapse.

I remember during the French protests against raising the retirement age these dorks were arguing that the entire pension system is a Ponzi scheme and old people shouldn’t be allowed to retire early, instead they should work more and hopefully die without touching their pension.

    Deeply selfish and unempathetic ghouls.

The parallel between how Fascism was all the methods of Colonialism returned to the core from the periphery and Neoliberalism was likewise all the methods of Neocolonialism returned to the core from the periphery always seemed very striking to me. It’s really no wonder that when that failed to do what the Capitalists expected they just immediately pivoted back towards trying to do Fascism again after deciding that the problem with putting a flimsy human mask on the brutality and extraction had to be the “human mask” part instead of the brutality and extraction part.
