Hi! I’ve been extremely tired this week and nearly forgot that I was hosting one so I’m writing this last minute! I couldn’t think of anything so I’m going to write about one of my hamsters who is not Biggs; Meredith
Meredith was another hamster of mine from a few years ago during the early days of COVID, and she was the absolute sweetest little creature I had ever met. Very friendly, very gentle. She loved exploring anywhere I put her into and never bit me okay she did once ever. She was an absolute sweetheart and bundle of love and was with me during some of the rougher parts of my life
She unfortunately died very suddenly out of the blue one day at a terribly young age showing no symptoms of anything wrong with her prior, which breaks my heart to this very day
I never had her as long as any other hamster of mine but I don’t think I had any other hamster touch my heart in quite the same way. I miss you, girl

Skincare is so underrated. HRT is magic of course, but a good skincare routine has made such a difference
Can you recommend any skincare resources?
My knowledge has been just a bunch of anecdotal resources on reddit tbh. I think just adding products one at a time and seeing how your skin reacts is generally good practice. My routine in the morning is cleanser, toner, vitamin c serum, moisturizer, spf. At night I don’t use the serum and use a light retinol. I’m happy with where that’s gotten me.
Wish I could find the long writeup I did for @SuperZutsuki@hexbear.net a while back. Most important part of skincare is consistency, for sure, as well as determining if your skins leans more oily or dry. I follow this order, morning and night, and takes about 2 minutes to do so. The products you use do not need to be expensive. With trial and error, I now mostly use drugstore products like cetaphil(fuck cerave,
) and get compliments on my skin all the time. I generally follow this order and it works for me very well.

This is just one routine and it works for me very well. I recommend just starting with say, a cleanser and a serum, and build on from there! This additive way helps one find what works for them and what does not with less trial and error.
Let me know if I missed anything and I hope this helps, comrade. May thy skin be akin to the texture of porcelain.
This one?

Yessss thank you!
Also, since you’re back now I could use some more advice. The eye cream I got gives me a bad reaction (makes my eyes water and nose runny). Do you have any recs for eye cream that’s more gentle? Most chemical sunscreens give me the same reaction so also any recs for gentle face sunscreen?
A great drugstore one I recommend is from elf. I believe it is called holy hydration and comes in a blue jar. I had great results with this and the one from cetaphil that comes in a tube!
