He’s forever saying stuff like that. He’s in utter lunatic.
I actually know a multi-millionaire and he’s exactly the same, they have convinced themselves that they deserve this money and so it’s totally moral and acceptable and therefore they don’t need to give it away to good causes. He is your stereo typical rich idiot, inherited his wealth but thinks he’s a big shot as a result, and cheated on his wife with his secretary.
He once said to me, “I would vote for labour but I have a moral responsibility to the public, so I vote for the conservatives because they are a better party for the people”, if I hadn’t been at work and didn’t have to be civil to him I’d have given him a slap for that.
I’m hoping it’s not one of those sudden lurches to the far right which seem to occur when someone suddenly needs access to the “special lawyers who make historical allegations disappear”.

Tell me Rod it isn’t so.
Is it for defending, sexual offending?
Tell me Rod it isn’t so.”

Yes, he’s had pretty much a constant stream of chances for over a decade.
For people who actually weren’t given a chance, we need to look at people like Ed Milliband, who once ate a sandwich wrong, or Jeremy Corbyn, who thought we should increase taxes on rich people (which was, according to the news at the time, apparently antisemetic).
Nah, Jeremy Corbyn lost two elections. He failed to make a proper stance on Brexit, and could have stopped it. Also had sketchy IRA connections. (Just like how Farage voiced support for the IRA because somebody paid him to)
I’m more appalled by Rod Stewart saying:
“We’ve got to give Nigel Farage a chance”.
and
“It’s hard for me because I’m extremely wealthy, and I deserve to be, so a lot of it doesn’t really touch me. But that doesn’t mean I’m out of touch.”
The actual fuck. No way he actually said that

Sadly, it’s been reported in numerous newspapers, from an interview between him and The Times.
Here’s one from The Independent, but it’s pretty much in all the papers.
“Rod Stewart tells UK to ‘give Farage a chance’” - The Independent
Goddamit, how out of touch is he or how much was he paid to say that… jesus christ

weird how often that keeps happening
Didn’t we give him a chance in 2016 with Brexit and whatever year we elected the Brexit party to EU parliament

Chaos with Ed Milliband however… Sign me up
